For Sale / Re: Need parts? Here's a great place
« on: August 03, 2011, 04:02:17 PM »
Jenny,

Seeking the "executive" or "touring" seat for the GrandVista 250 (mine's a 2009).
I can't find them anywhere for sale to the public, and my local dealer seems high.  Can you help?

Grandvista 250 / Just got wind deflectors for mirrors on GV 250
« on: December 29, 2010, 09:12:12 PM »
I recently purchased at a great discount :) some wind deflectors for the GV that go around the base of the mirrors.
I am thinking the way it is aerodynamically shaped up front this will improve moving some of the breeze away from my hands, but I couldn't find many reviews of these things, and they do require actual screw holes into my plastic - so....
I was wondering if someone could tell me good news about them before I puncture my new scoot.

Thanks for any feedback, really, if you hated them, too!

Grandvista 250 / Re: Grand Vista Accessory Seat ?
« on: October 02, 2010, 12:07:31 PM »
I'm curious as to cost of the fancy shmancy seat too, I had to remove the backrest from my 09 Grandvista because with my leg length it was just uncomfortable on my knees and butt.
I shaved down the foam and put it back but the plastic frame that bolts on is the problem.
I just opted to leave it off for now, but there's another problem. Now I have three holes to cover or patch, but the riding is so much nicer!

I'd like to know where to find these optional seats, their cost, if they can be ordered online, they look pretty cool, but they don't look like they go back any farther than the factory butt rest.:(

All I've found on this topic here is really old posts, so I'm anxious to hear if someone chimes in on this.
Happy riding!

Grandvista 250 / Re: Difference between 2009-2010 GV, and older models

The deal is done!  I'm now another proud Kymco owner.
I do think I'll adjust the seat backrest though, even though I'm 5'5, I've got a 32 inseam so my knees are up to my elbows!
I am referring to my new ride as the BarcaLounger on wheels.
 ;D :D ;) :) ;D :D ;) :)

Grandvista 250 / Difference between 2009-2010 GV, and older models
« on: September 23, 2010, 02:54:10 PM »
I have the exciting opportunity to get a brand new 250 GV or a slightly older used one, for a great price.
What are (if any) the startling differences in the GV model from year to year?  The oldest one I looked at was 2006.

Please advise - are they big differences?
