I'm a bit south of SA. I just decided to take my scoot to the dealership. I have a feeling it is the carb.

This is my first Kymco and so far I love it up until a few days ago. I hadn't ridden in about three weeks and when I went to start it, it wouldn't start. I'm thinking it has to do with the whole ethanol gas situation gumming up the works. I know now how to treat the gas and not to let my scoot sit around for too long but I don't know how to fix what may have already happened in the engine.
What's going on is when I try to start it I can only get it going with the kick start. Then it kind of chugs then putters out if I just LOOK at the throttle. I'm not familiar with the inside of a scooter at all.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

So if the scoot will not start due to the ethanol in the gas, how does one fix it? My scoot will not start unless I kick start it and even then, it chugs then putters out if I even look at the throttle.
