Anyone know what size tappet tool for doing the valve adjustment? I was thinking it might be a 3mm Square with 9mm Socket?
Thanks.

I just made a post on the 138cc kit and carb kit. Think I’m going to buy it later today and probably have a shop install it. Just got some enduro tires today to have installed as well.

General Discussion / K-Pipe 125 138cc Big Bore Kit Thoughts?

What do you all think of this kit? The carb setup and the 138cc kit? K-pipe 125 is just my motorcycle rally and pit bike for the most part, but would like a little more power, especially 2up at the rally’s. Looking for fairly simple install and tuning. (Probably have a moped shop do the install). I know it will probably be crickets on here & this has been posted before a few years ago with no input unfortunately.

Crickets still?

Still crickets lol. I asked a dealer about doing a kit this winter. They took my info and never got back to me lmao. Go figure.

I throw 91 in. at 1-2 gallons I don't feel the pain lol. Plus if it sits a while it keeps the octane up a little bit more.

Has anyone seen anything new as far as big bore kits, sprocket & chain kits etc?

Anyone found a taller front sprocket and O-ring chain readily available? Another poster on page 7 mentioned he was looking for an O-ring chain.

There is only off and on.

Bike really needs a different reflector housing. Checked the lighting tonight. Pretty sporadic but a bit better than the halogen. The Sachs madass has projectors, and I wonder if one could retrofit that on.

I wonder how well their 138cc kit would do?

BEAMTECH H11 LED Headlight Bulb, 50W 6500K 8000Lumens Extremely Brigh H8 H9 CSP Chips Conversion Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XHDYTGL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_7OzdDb40Q2RQ2

Used this for the low beam. I had to move the wiring harness over a little bit. Tight fit, but all went well. I do need to see if I can “clock” the bulb as the leds are up and down facing and probably should go from left to right. Did not get a chance to see the bulbs at night though.

The high beam bulb from the above post I had to use a uni-bit to open up the whole for the bulb to go through. Not a big deal at all.

So far with idling and a short ride no issues with the bulbs cutting out. The high beam light does make the lens feel warm though, but I’m thinking it should be good.

The DZG H4/HS1 bulb only worked for the high beam. The low beam is an H8, which I didn't have. So I ordered one up last night that should be here Thursday. I did plug in the H4 bulb and then turned the key on. It worked. I then fired the bike up and let it idle and rev it a bit and the bulb didn't flicker in the 3-4 minutes I was doing it.

I’ll post if it does.

I ordered up this one last night. I’ll give it a try. Guess the bulb is n HS1. I never heard of it before, but I don’t screw around with small bikes until now and once in the early 90’s.
