General Discussion / 2017 K-Pipe shifter wont reset

Hi all,

I have a 2017 K-Pipe with 600 miles on it (I put all 600 on it). I find that sometimes, especially when the engine is warm, the shifter wont reset after downshifting. In other words, I pull in the clutch, press down to downshift, and I cant downshift again because the shifter didnt click back up. If I let the clutch out, it will pop back up.

Any ideas on why this might happen or how to remedy it?

Hi all.

I just bought a new 2017 K-Pipe (dealer overstock). This is my first bike. I read through the manual, familiarized myself with the controls, shifter, kick starter and so on. The bike started right up and ran for about 5 minutes, then stopped and I cannot get it started again. It sat overnight, and still wont start.

I'm going to grab a new spark plug today since they're so cheap, but Im wondering about the fuel valve on the side of the carb (pictured). It's not mentioned in the manual, I'm assuming its a fuel shutoff. How open should this valve be normally? What is the proper use of this valve?

Hi all,

I just got a new 2017 K-pipe. It's my first bike, and its been a really long time since I've dealt with a carb. Can anyone tell me what the fuel adjuster in the attached image is for? It got moved from its original position and Im not sure where to set it.
