« on: October 07, 2019, 12:21:23 PM »
7 years ago I sold my car (Opel Astra) and bought SYM 150 it was my first scooter I drive I took this decision cuz I fed up with parking and driving in a very crowded streets ( I live in Cairo, Egypt) and I used scooter to go everyday to work and the average distance daily
 50 miles (90 km ) per day
last year i bought my DT 300 used and was running 900 KM now I drove for 35000 KM
I only use my wife car C180 in travelling or weekends if we were together

My Regards

Ehab

Why spend your money?  Scooter in stock form just fine----want more performance=get different/bigger bike or scooter....probably cheaper in the long run and maybe more reliable.

Everyday there is a new tech. and I always looking and watching what is new and if it is suitable for my scooter or not
I am not looking or searching to give more power or else
why not to know what is new in the market

Today on mt way home I heard a loud noise from the rear wheel
I stopped and I couldn't find anything someone told maybe the wheel dirt cover so i move again and still hearing a noise but suddenly the noise stopped and the ABS sensor light turned on I went to the mech. to check it and finally he fixed and he also clean the clutch and springs all the kit and grease it
the rear noise now is reduced and i will check it in the morning and i will give you the feed back

why you say cables/wiring harness

it is a mechanical issue in the handlebar moving left or right

32000 Km (19883.878 Miles) year 2014 the noise change when the engine warm up and if the engine is cold and I increase the speed the noise disappear or reduced

The noise when I am still warming up in the morning or even after a long time parking and while putting on my safety gear and the scooter on the main stand
I change oil every 4000 KM to 5000 Km (2500 miles to 3000 miles) and the noise has not relation with the oil changing or level because I hear the noise even after change the oil on the next day morning

I will try to record a video

Thanks

Hello All
This is my first post in the group
I have the same problem, and when I went to the mechs. he told me that the Roller Weights is the problem and i need to change it and better to change the Variator Drive Wheel Assy.

I didn't change it yet coz i am not sure of his opinion

but the sound come from the rear wheel the place of the driving belt
