Agility 50 / Re: No Power but the engine runs

Hi, I had the same thought since there was literally no gap when i got it back from the shop. I just changed it to 0.1mm or 0.004 inch. However it made no difference. Attached a video to better explain it.

Agility 50 / No Power but the engine runs
« on: March 21, 2021, 06:09:09 PM »
So I put the engine back together, new engine oil new spark plug and I took to the nearby scooter shop to adjust the valves. When I got it back I couldnt even stick in the smallest feeler gauge I have which 0.04mm and also what is suggested by the service manual. when I try to accelerate the scooter I get no power. When it's on the center stand the wheel spins and when I accelerate it the sound changes and vibrates a lot. But if I put it off the stand I have like zero power.

I have question regarding this. Im afraid of messing up the TDC as the mark on the flywheel is not enough if I understand it correctly. The T mark can be aligned but you can still not be TDC on the compression stroke. How can I track this or be sure im at true TDC. in other words does the crank shaft rotate evenly because just in his case he had aligned the T mark but not at the TDC when you look at the camshaft. without the camshaft does it matter if the T is in the same position or if i rotate 360 degrees line the T mark again it wont make a difference?

Side By Side / Re: How to set timing on UXV 500 2010??

One question, when you are rebuilding the engine the T mark on the flywheel always mean TDC if you place the camshaft correctly? I'm confused because if I'm at TDC on the flywheel I can still not be on the TDC when I look at the camshaft. does the same apply to the crankshaft or it doesn't matter if the flywheel is at TDC it has to be True TDC and placing the camshaft will determine if it's on true TDC.

Agility 50 / Stuck cylinder jug / Unable to remove cylinder Jug
« on: March 11, 2021, 05:42:22 PM »
Hi all,
I had a gasket leak and maybe some piston damage as well so I was going to do a 70cc Mezoly Kit. However, im stuck at removing the cylinder jug. I tried hitting it with the back of the Rachet and as well as a rock with cloth in between of course but it just wont move. I am able to turn the engine over but I do hear the rings scratching agasint the cylinder jug. Any suggestions?

Im a beginner and would like to change the variator of my  agility 50. Do I need to remove the body parts in order to be able to remove the cvt cover? As I can not reach one of the bolts using a rachet.
