Super 9 / Re: Fastest you can get super 9

Yeah I have decided against trying to tune my ped, its just a hassle and will likely cost more in the long run. Just going to look for a nice 125 scooter, and get one of those.

Super 9 / How much is my kymco bike worth?
« on: January 25, 2011, 09:03:25 PM »
Im currently selling my Kymco Super 9 50cc bike.

Its a 2007 model with 4900 miles. Its in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition, with no problems whatsoever, and no scratches or marks at all.

It has one previous owner, and has 10 months MOT and 6 months tax.

It is fully derestricted, but still has a standard exhaust. Does 45mph easily on a straight.

It also has a steering lock, electric and kick start which both work first time (unless its reallllyyy cold). It also has a built in alarm immobilised worth over £100.

Based on this information, how much do you think I should sell this bike for? I have no idea how much its worth.

Please help me, thanks.

Super 9 / Fastest you can get super 9

Hi guys, I currently have a 2007 kymco super 9 air cooled. It is completely derestricted, but still has a standard exhaust. At the moment, it comfortably does 45 mph on a straight road. Now im 17 in a week, and am stuck on whether to keep my super 9 and try and tune it to get it really fast, or buy an automatic 125cc scooter. I do not want a geared bike so thats out of the question.

So what im wanting to know is what is the fastest you think i can get my super 9 to, and what do i need to have done it it? (I know very little about bikes).

How much do you think it will cost to do all this work to the bike? And do you think i should keep the super 9 and tune it, or try and buy a 125cc scooter?

Thanks
