Side By Side / Any issues with rear shaft mounted disk brake?

Does the rear shaft mounted disc brake function and hold up well?  I suppose it's no different than a wheel mounted disc brake that is constantly in the water and mud. Do they stay quiet, no squealing?

Side By Side / UXV 700 On Board Storage

Potentially looking at the UXV 700 for a first side by side purchase. My main uses are utility & hunting oriented, I am interested in on board storage for straps, small hand tools, etc. I know the 450 has a variety of on board storage but I dont see anything except the glove box on the 700. Is this all there is for onboard storage on the 700?
I prefer the extra ground clearance the 700 has for off trail negotiating obstacles.  Also the power steering option would be helpful for my elderly dad.
If anyone could verify I'd appreciate it.
