Thinking about getting an armored jacket soon. Costs for these are quite expensive down here. So its a real longterm investment. My wife was also advising me about the jacket this morning. So definitely would look into this. Also i really am not a fan of a full face helmet. Maybe a flip up would be good but again its quite bulky. But yes a ride quite a long way so investment will come. Plus another factor is that international trade were dead for 2 month so even before we were in lockdown here there was not a lot of stuff in the bikes shop. So will have to wait for new stock. Probably more expensive

My personal goal is the AK550. Which i plan to get on the next 29th of Feb. I got my 250i this 29th of Feb. Else if they would sell it in my country the Honda XAdv.

Hi Guys,

wanted to know your ideas on Gears, how much is too much.
At the moment I have my Open Face Helmet, Plus a FaceMask (bit like bane in batman), I also use Polarized Ssunglasses but switched to BIG Sort of Snow Google (which i find very good no wind in your eyes etc. Plus Gloves and a Leather Jacket. I ride like 50km per day total to work. Wear high heel Shoes (Formal boots). Would you think of this as Over Geared or not enough when riding 25kms journey on a 250cc, or maybe not enough. To be noted that i might be doing 100kmh or faster at times. Great if i could get your feedback on gears to wear on a 25km trip.

140kph hit this morning. Was on the highway today loads of wind etc. Was on 120kph. Then suddenly the needle started hitting past 120 so nailed it a bit more and it did climb up to 140kph. So it might actually need some time fore all the mechanical pieces to properly work together but hey im very happy it hit 140kph. Next time will try 145 or 150 maybe.

I know. A lot of people from usa dont know about mauritius but we are quite famous in Uk and france, and we are the top holiday destinations for french.

You all know diego garcia, the us naval base in the indian ocean, well the island is for mauritius, theres a claim for it etc etc. We surely dont want the nav base to move but oh wel money politics again so lets just forget it

Thanks major. Going forward im planning on doing 1 picture a day from my daily commute. Yeah the virus found its way because of politics but hey lets not complicate ourselves with this.

This one is the view from my office. Can complain, just a little bit too much trees. This is Grand Bay, its THE most famous tourist location and great nightlife as well.

Yes and we speak english and french and sunny nearly all year with a winter which is like 23 degrees celcius. Cant complain really. Plus I live on the beach. So cant complain again lol.

Thanks Mr. Stig. Thanks also for adding my island on that smmap. Talking about covid. It hit us with 330 cases and 10 death. But the country has been doing very fine with the confinement measures etc. We are on 20 days without new infection so pretty much ruled out lets hope.
