Technical | How To / Re: How dual horns work

HEY STUO - I see you have a couple GV250's.  Any chance you could provide a drawing of the modifications you made and the parts (numbers) you used to double up on the horns?  Sure would be helpful.  Heck, while I'm at it I might as well as you - how the heck do you remove the dash console?  I've got the front end of my GV250 pretty well torn apart including the mirrors and I still can't seem to detach the dash console from the black plastic support.  I was going to just remove the console so I could attach the speedometer cable to the bottom but I'd also like to fix the non-working dash light, too.
Thanks,
TonyinCNY

I've got a 2009 Kymco Grand Vista 250.  It started out that I needed to attach the speedometer cable to the bottom of the dash console.  Couldn't quite get my fingers in there to do it while the dash console was still attached to the plastic support base.  I would also like to take apart the dash console and electrically repair the non-working dash light.
But, THE KILLER IS getting the dash console off the scooter.  I've removed the mirrors.  Nope.  I've taken about every nut and screw out of the front fairing.  Nope.
So, does anyone have any step by step instructions on getting that darn dash console off the scooter.  I can't seem to find anything in the shop manual.
Thanks,
TonyinCNY
