Sounds like good advice, I'll try that! Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it'll be my next-next scooter.  Still gonna try and get another original P250 once mine dies, then I'll be looking for a gently used GT300i.

With no trip odo on the p250, I just keep a little note in my phone of the "kilometer-age" it had during the last fill-up and don't let it go too much farther than 200. Be aware also that this bike is prone to dying on a hot day with a full tank of gas and the only solution I've found is to pop the gas cap periodically while coasting so the engine stays running.  Small inconveniences on an otherwise perfect scoot!  Oh wait, a perfect scoot wouldn't scrape the kickstand on turns so much!

My dealer got me a new underbelly under warranty because I realized mine was cracked. It was quick and painless.

The ONE disadvantage over the other Peoples!  :-\  I still think it's my next scoot.  Too bad i'll have to add a more substantial windscreen and a huge topbox.  More $$$.  Here's hoping my scoot lasts until the GTi 300 is available used!

There should be an included tool that you can use to adjust the shocks yourself. At least that's the case with the non-S People 250.

General Discussion / Re: dry rot tires !! i need a new front tire stat

I've got Michelin Gold Standard on the front (I think these are discontinued??) and I just got a Michelin City Grip on the back.  Needless to say, I'm a Michelin fan and I fully recommend them for smoothness and long life.  Most shops don't have a problem with you bringing them a tire to put on your scoot.

But if the GV fits you, it's perfect for 2-up non-interstate cruising as well. I'd say the same about the People. It's all about what feels right as you're sitting on it, or better yet, testing riding it!

I'd wait until your dealer has both the Downtown 300i and the People GT 300i in stock, sit on both, then ride away on one.

I climbed 1000 feet with my wife on the back yesterday evening - temp never got above halfway and the fan kicked on to bring it down perfectly.  Curious why I keep having to top off the radiator and it doesn't seem to be pulling from the reserve tank... Anyone know why?

Are you guys super strict about adjusting the valves every 4000 km? I've been extending this interval a bit...:-\
