Yager GT 200i / Re: Yager seat

Sorry, I didn't think to take pics as we did them.  Just did it.

Lets me sit further back without having to sit on the ledge from the foam.

Yup.  Took a flat blade screwdriver and pulled the staples out of the seat bottom to release the seat cover.  Only took out enough to pull the cover back to the ridge.  Cut the ridge out of the foam and then pulled the cover back over the seat.

Took one of the original staples to the store and bought the closest I could find with the same leg length.  Stapled the cover back on.

Works just fine.

General Discussion / Re: Kymco Gift Card Promotion
« on: October 05, 2011, 02:46:32 PM »
when I bought my Kymco in March, I contacted Kymco about my $100 card.  They told me that the dealer had to submit the paperwork to them and then they would send me the card.

I shot an e-mail to my dealer, they "remembered" to send in the paperwork, and I got my card.

So maybe checking with the dealer that they processed the paperwork would help.

Yager GT 200i / Re: Gas gauge increments

I have gone 20 miles after all the segments are gone and only the gas pump icon was left blinking.

To date I have been able to 190 miles before refueling and still have never put in more than 2.5 gals of gas.

Hope this helps.

Just hit 200 miles on my Yager.  Did the 200 mile service and adjusted the valves following Ikers most excellent instructions.  Thanks Iker!

If you are handy with a wrench at all, I would not pay a shop to do this for you.  It really is just as easy as Iker says.

Yager GT 200i / First fill up
« on: April 21, 2011, 02:14:22 PM »
Hello everyone!

Got my Yager on April Fools day and promptly ran over a piece of metal necessitating a new rear tire.

That is fixed now and I made it to my first fill up.  65 mpg not broken in yet, seems pretty good to me.

Will be due for my 200 mile service this weekend.

I really appreciate those of you on this forum for sharing your experiences and expertise.  Makes owning and maintaining this scoot a lot more fun.

Take care!

Yager GT 200i / Rear axle nut torque?
« on: April 12, 2011, 08:28:31 PM »
Hello all,

Just picked up a Yager on the 1st.  Also managed to pick up a hole in the rear tire.  >:(

I need to pull the rear wheel to have a replacement installed, but I don't have a service manual.

Can anyone tell me what I need to torque the axle nut to when reinstalling?

Many thanks in advance.
