Thank you airshot! I'm really having fun with it.  My first UTV, have always just had quads. Thank you for all the help on my plow post too.   I'll be hanging on to them for now just in case,  but you'll be the first to know if I decide I don't need them!

I've been waiting a while for it to come in,  but finally got the call from my dealer this week to come pick it up! I hadn't seen one in person,  but wanted a small UTV to get around my hunting property which is mostly thicker woods,  working around the house,  and some light trail riding with my son.  I decided on the Prime because I knew would want the roof and windshield anyway,  and I liked the having the grill guard and bumper. The Elka shocks seemed like they might be a nice upgrade too.  I was very pleasantly surprised when I showed up and saw it,  and even more when I drove it.  I haven't driven it too much yet,  but it drives great and the shocks make for a fantastic ride! I was surprised to see a box in the bed with 4 stock shocks in it. Apparently they're shipped to the dealer with those on it and get changed out when they put it together, so the dealer gives them to the customer.  Waiting for the plow to come in and see if it fits with the grill guard.  All in all,  I'm very happy with my new toy and can't wait to get more time on it!

I had asked the dealer parts guy when I picked it up and he wasn't sure as most of the units they sell aren't the Primes, but he did some calling and talked directly to KFI who claims theirs will fit, so he ordered one and we'll see what happens.  Hopefully it will work!

Mine came with the Prime package,  so it has the roof,  windshield, elka shocks, winch,  rear bumper,  and front grill guard all shipped from Kymco and installed by the dealer.  The guard does connect to the winch mount with a plate that angles under like some of the plow mounts I've seen, but the tube look like they may be in the way of the pins for the plow.

Thank you all for the info! The machine took a bit longer to come in then I  expected,  but I was finally able to pick it up yesterday.  I'm really loving it! Looking at it,  being a prime,  it has the front grill guard and I'm concerned that would interfere with a front mount.  Do any of you that have plows on them have the grill guard?  Does anyone have any pics of their mid or front mount with or without the grill guard?  Hoping that could help me figure out what might work.  Thank you again!

Thank you! I am not opposed to making something. I live in upstate NY, so we can get a good amount of snow at times.  I do have a tractor with loader of we get really dumped on.  I was hoping they were starting to make stuff to fit these,  but it seems like not much aftermarket available.  My dealer said they have had luck with a universal KFI on them so that could be an option.  I'm definitely going to check out the soft cab,  that would be great in the winter!

Hi all! New guy here waiting on my new 450i UXV Prime to arrive in the next few days. I've seen a couple topics on it,  but I was wondering what plows will actually fit this machine.  It seems no one really makes a specific mount to fit them that I've seen.  I saw some mention of the Cabela's universal, but can't seen to find one.  The Kolpin universal adjustable width looks promising but I'm concerned about the strength of the blade.  I also wasn't sure if mounts for the Prowler 500 would work since I believe they're basically the same?  Can anyone point me to a unit that definitely fits and works well? Any direction would be much appreciated.  I look forward to learning all I can about these really cool machines!
