It's been a while guys hope you are all doing well, i seem to be in need of your assistance again... It was 121 degrees on the heat index today and i was scootin along when all of a sudden i lost a good amount of power then the scoot died on me, it overheated of course the plug was pretty burnt and smoke was coming out of the crankcase ventilation tube (tube that comes off the valve cover) It burnt quite a bit of oil in this process so when i got it home (in the back of a truck of course) i changed the oil and made sure the carb and transmission were in good working order then i test started it. it ran fine except for it taking a little extra gas to get it to start but has developed a tick at idle that sounds to me like it's coming from the head. i'm on my way outside to pull the head and check for bent valves, excess carbon, scars on cylinder wall, ect just wondering if anyone had any other ideas of things i should check after an overheating. i think i may have scarred the cylinder considering i drained about a cup of oil out of the bike which is way less than what was in there when i left this morning but i guess we'll see
