Hi Kibitzer, any way you can get to northern Floridia with a pickup? I am selling a 7 month old 2011, orange, DT300i with Givi windshield and a 45L box plus a Airhawk seat. It has approx 4,500 miles on it. You could save a couple of thousand dollars. Is there any difference between the US models and Can? Check it out on www.cycletrader.com. It's in zip code 32136. Also comes with a cover and two helmets.

This burnt orange bike has approx. 4100 miles, bought in April 2011. Installed the larger Givi wind screen and Shad 45L box. It's located in central Florida. List price was $5400, let's make a deal.

I had a problem with my seat also. It helped to push down on the back of the seat while twisting the key. The problem goes away after you use over time.

I bought a 50cc Kymco Like, kept it 1 week and went back and got the Downtown 300i. I ride on 35mph and 45mph speed limit roads 5 days a week. I now have 2000 miles on the 300i and am getting 80mpg. Bigger bikes ride better at speeds over 40mph, smooth and quite. I would suggest looking for a used 250.

Live in Florida, my DT300 with $250.00 deductable, 100/300k Liability and $100.00 Comp. deductable is $121.45 per year. This was with Allstate.

I had my dt300 serviced in Daytona last month. Its the Red Ember Cycle. They seem to have a pretty good service department and dealership. They just added several new scooter lines including Vespa.

I added the Shad SH-45 and am very happy with it. It's great for picking up take-out lunch and bringing it home. I'm riding about 200 miles every 7-9 days. Currently I have 210 miles on this tank and still have 2 of the 5 indicators lite on the gas gage. This looks like it could get close to 80mph on this tank. I really like the ride, it's quite and smooth. I have about 1300 miles registered as of today.

In Florida we don't have a choice, all gas has up to 10% Ethanol. The dealers recommend an additive added to each tank. Amsoil is one of the additives recommended where I purchased my scooter.

I've filled up 4 times now and am averaging 75 mpg. I tend to drive for economy, between 35 and 55 mph. Normal starts and not much traffic.
