2012 kymco people gt 200i
Spark plug coil and wire will any 12v coil and 90 degree two pin Connector work or does it need to be kymco oem.
My issue is im selling the bike this week and low and behold the wire or the coil kicked the bucket on my last plug change the plug wire inside metal came out while pulling it from the spark plug I shoved it back in and it's been running fine but tonight it died when idling.

Had my first long highway ride yesterday.
Was wondering if it's a limiter thing or what..
Bikes has a slight jerk at 70mph. Everything before then is fine. Only when 70mph. The bike feels like it wants to go faster but something makes it have a slight kick back kind of like hey your at top speed back off. My thought was maybe a fuel injection issue but wasn't sure.. anyone else experience this? All fluids have been flushed and has a new spark plug.

So the 2012 gt200i what all pads are are compatible. Or what's the best place to get them. The recommended sites on here are outrageous 50 bucks for 2 pads unless they are giving you the front and rear. That be cool. Ordered some from ebay hope they work out. Also I noticed on my dash it has a service soon light it's not on at the moment but was wondering when and why and how to reset it when it does. I'm currently changing all fluids well waiting on an oil filter to finish the job. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah i got the right rectifier, had to manually select it from the website like putting in my scooter type year and all and looks exact same to the original bought from electrosport.com. I will check connections tomorrow buying multi meter tonight..

@rufus thanks I'll try that because the hold the throttle for 10 seconds didn't work so...

Probably a good idea Rufus, I changed the rectifier last night and it's still on so there's that. But it's weird it starts right up no lights are dim and I rode it home from work at night perfectly fine.

Just bought with 8000miles the battery light came on when I test road it. So today when I purchased it I bought a new battery slapped it in battery light remained on. I rode it from pick up location stopped numerous places on the way home. No problem starting at all. I know thus has been talked about before I don't have a volt meter at moment to check things.

Whats the opinions,
Stator going out?
Loose connection
Or should I try resetting the thing by holding the throttle open clearing the faults?

Yeah there really isn't any 2020 anywhere near me like this nore do I have a truck to bring one back if there was.. I think I'm just gonna take the gamble honestly. It's what I want and I like it. I'd rather put parts on a quality scooter than keep buying parts for my 2017 or 20w1 gy6 motors lol.
