2015 UXV450i with 1800 milles, spit and sputtered to a stop. thought it was out of gas. not the case. tried a new plug and jump pack to battery for extra battery boost. it started and revved up. thought it was fixed. let it idle but it still sputtered to a stop. what could it be ? thinking in tank fuel filter ? fuel pump ? I can hear / feel it vibrating, doesn't mean it's putting out enough pressure. where can I get a pump and filter ? PROBLEM SOLVED- I tried new plug, new fuel filter,  a good full size car battery,, had injector cleaned, to make long story short problem was fuel pump. Got a new pump (it's a walbro) and filter off e-bay. came from Poland. $77. after installing pump it wouldn't pump fuel. I could hear it running. I hooked up red wire to red and black to black. I reversed the wires- red to black, black to red and it pumps. runs great. had problem getting old pump off. has 2 tabs on bottom part. just twist til it unlocks, pump itself it's pressed in. just twist and pull out..

 I have a 2015 uxv450i with 1824 miles, had it 3 months now. having a few problems. front right tire tilted in a lot and a noise when machine is moving. I think it's 2 seperate problems. I  hear the noise as soon as I start to apply throttle, hard to describe, would sound similar to a zip tie fastened to driveshaft.or metal on metal, like a brake pad. noise goes away as I come to stop. all brake pads are good. could it be the cvt belt  coming apart ?
 2nd problem- UTV is wandering all over the road, front right tire is tilted in excessively. I know some camber is normal. I checked for play in tie rod ends, control arms. had hub off, everything appears solid. didn't check shock absorber on that side yet. front tires are worn, ordering replacement today. is camber adjustable on uxv450i ? something is definitely not right.

  I just checked. didn't find anything specifically for UXV450i. None of those they show not even close.

The engine and the wet clutch share the same oil. The CVT sheaves are outside the engine/transmission block. The clutch is mounted on the shaft of the rear CVT sheaves inside the engine/transmission case. You want to make sure not to use an energy conserving oil or you may get clutch slippage. I use Mobil 0W-40. You could use Rotella 5W-40 if you wanted to. Or motorcycle oil!

I used a motorcycle oil 10w40 . it didn't say anything about wet clutch compatible. hopefully I'm ok ?

Yep, more than likely a leak, look closely at all coolant conections, might be a very small leak where it evaporates andvthey can be hard to find.  Refill the tank and see how long it takes to go down.    If you need to locate the leak might best to do it when engine is hot because the leak will show up better. Honestly....probably a loose hose clamp somewhere.

I'm gonna try see where leak is. Hopefully easy fix

I have a 2021 UXV700i. bought it 9 days ago. I want to change engine oil. My manual says what oil to use but not oil filter. What oil filter should I order ? thanks in advance.

I had a meandering issue a couple years ago...... worn ball joints,  however some tires are more prone to grabbing ruts and road anomolies, I've been running winter car/truck tires 205/70-15s on my 450i, off road, so far, they have taken me anywhere any off road tires have taken me, and on the road, it's like driving a car with a short wheelbase

The tires are getting bald. will look into that too. thanks

 Hello- New member here and new to owning a SXS.  I bought my dad a Kymco uxv450 about 5 weeks ago. first time I ever drove a Kymco. A 2015  used in a campground/ park  development. never been in woods. looks new. 1700 miles. they used it to plow their driveway.go to beach and ride around. On test ride with plow installed on dirt road. steering felt heavy with plow. Now that we had it 5 weeks, with no plow, the steering seems loose to me, it's like darts side to side. is that normal ? I just bought a 2021 UXV700 with eps. it steers like my car. it's precise.
