@LarryinYuma, welcome here, two(2) pinchbolts, each side has one of those. Are 6mm bolts with an 5mm allen head. Axle is to be removed towards LH side of fork (front brake caliper removed).

Thank you!

Two? Man, I must be asleep! Gotta go look now! You spoiled my evening.....boo, hooo!

Glad I took it to the shop.  Tire was ripped as well as punctured.  Tire was ruined.  I just had them order me another tire.  Sometimes I just pay for the customer service and call it good.   They need business or they might be around when needed.

Yes. Spacers. Draw a picture of all spacers, where they were and orientation.
You will want to have your bike on the center stand on a 1/2" thick board. Either weight the rear seat or top box to raise  the front. You could also put a box or something under the floor area to hold the front wheel up the first time you do this. You will see once you pull that axle out the bike naturally settles back on the rear tire.

Thank you.  I removed the pinch bolt but I can't seem to get the axel bolt to break free.  I am gonna load the scooter up and take it to the shop.  Contrary to my usual method.

I put 40 lbs of air in the tire and my plugs held it to 20 lbs over night.

The tire is an Avon Striker with almost no wear on it.  The scooter has 5500 miles on it so I am assuming this tire hasnt been on the bike long.

If you plan on keeping your scoot for a while, consider buying a Cyclepedia manual. They're about $40 bucks, but are model specific, and have detailed instructions and diagrams. I just pulled my X-Town 300 apart to change headlights, and the manual was extremely helpful.

Thank you.  Great tip.  I will look for one.

The reason your axle bolt won't turn is there is a pinch bolt that has to be loosened first. It's on the same side the big Allen wrench goes to unscrew the axle.

Thank you.  An allen head underneath the axel bolt.  Is there anything  that I should be concerned about as I pull that axle out?

I hit a garage door handle in the middle of the road at 45 mph.  I wobbled but maintained control but the front tire deflated immediately.  The square shaft punctured my tire which looks new.  I put two plugs into the tire and they are holding but I want to take the rim off and have the tire patched from the inside.

I am stumped on taking the front wheel off.

Help a new guy out.  I put an allen wrench in the axel but it wouldnt budge.
