You have excellent taste in scooters! The 300 GTi is one I have always found very attractive. I love the true step through design combined with a 300cc, fuel injected, 4 valve, liquid cooled engine. That hits my sweet spot.

As far as a narrower back tire you should be ok. Many people go up in width with few problems so I don’t see why you can’t go down in width. It may throw off your speedo a bit but if that’s the only tire size you can get then you don’t have a choice!

We love pictures so feel free to post plenty of pics of your new scoot…and welcome!

People GT 300i / Hello people!, I greet you from the Argentine Republic.

First of all, thank you for allowing me to be part of your group.
Second, excuse my English, I'll handle the translator, so if you want to have fun with me, you'll get it  ;D
I have purchased a 2016 model year Kymco People 300 GTi with 8700 miles. It is not as I would like it to be, but I hope to gradually leave it impeccable.
At low speed I have a bit of "shimmy", which worries me, but at high speed the bike runs fine. It is a motorcycle that was parked in a garage for a long time and perhaps the tires were ruined. I have already bought a new front one.

I wanted to ask you, what do you think about putting a 130/70-16 tire on the rear, since here in my country you can't get the 140/70-16.

Anyway, I don't want to bore you, any advice on the weak points of this beautiful bike, I will greatly appreciate it.

I leave you a very cordial greeting, remaining at your disposal for anything that can help.

Finally, I tell you that in addition to the Kymco, we have at home a Suzuki AN125 Scooter, a Yamaha NMAX 155 Scooter and the most beloved and only mine, a Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT  ;)
