Agility 50 / Re: Help with Problem PLEASE!

Compared to other forums I belong to, this Kymco forum isn't active by any means.   My only suggestion would be to check the air filter.

You might also try to adjust the idle mixture screw to 3 turns out.  It did wonders on mine.

Fresh gas or not, starting fluid will help.  You can pick up a can of it at Walmart or any auto parts store.  As long as you're getting spark and some fuel, starting fluid will make it fire right up.  Good luck.

Agility 50 / Agility 50 fuel mileage
« on: August 24, 2008, 07:30:39 PM »
I have over 400 km on my Kymco now.  I did the crankcase and rear gear case oil changes just last week.

On my second fill up I got 99 mpg.

On my last fill up I got 109 mpg.

This is at mostly steady 30 mph driving.  I'm going to put the overdrive clutch bushing in it as soon as I can and see how much extra speed I get and what it does to the fuel economy.

ADDED 9-2-2008:

The last two fill ups I got 109 mpg and 107 mpg.

I still don't have the overdrive clutch bushing in, not sure if I'll get to that this year.

Wow, 9,000 RPM is screaming.  What is the max rev stock?

My 50 goes 33 mph on the flats and 35 downhill.  The dealer gave me a clutch bushing that said would let the clutch shift out further and give another 5 or 10 mph, but I haven't put it in there.  Anyone done that mod?   I can post a pic of the bushing if anyone wants to see it.

My state has a 30 mph max speed for mopeds, anything faster and it's considered a motorcycle then you need a helmet and insurance and license plate and endorsement.  The moped doesn't need anything of these things.  I supposed you could just ride 30 mph when the police are around and when you're out on your own you could wind it up.   :D

Agility 50 / Re: Hi, to all, from Croatia

I'm an idiot, I don't even know where Croatia is, overseas for sure but beyond that I'd have to look it up.  Nice that these Kymcos are available throughout the world.

Welcome to the Kymco Forum, I'm new here as well.

Hey buddy,

I don't think there's a way it can be converted to log miles instead of kilometers.  There might be an adapter out there, or available from Kymco directly.  I'll check on it.

Congrats on the new Kymco.  I just bought one myself last week, a blue one.   I'm 5-11 and 220 and I got 95 mpg on my first fill up.  Definitely happy with that.  I really like the backrest on this model.
