Super 8 150 / How much did you pay for your S8 2 stoke new?
« on: August 26, 2011, 01:03:40 AM »
A few friends and I would like to purchase a Super 8 two stroke scooter.  I'm just curious to see if anyone has been able to get any discount off of MSRP.  Furthermore, I wonder if any dealers do volume discounts if you buy 3 at a time :)

Super 8 150 / Big Bore kit options for Super 8 50 2 stroke?
« on: August 26, 2011, 12:57:30 AM »
I'm looking at picking up a Super 8 50cc 2-stroke in U.S.A.  I've been told of 70cc Big Bore kits on eBay making this scoot run 70mph.  Is that true?  Is there anything I should look for when shopping these big bore kits, or does anyone recommend a specific brand, or a place to purchase one of these kits?

Agility 50 / How long before first "service" (valve adjust, etc.)
« on: May 16, 2011, 11:38:53 AM »
How long did you wait to take your Agility 50 back to the dealer for its first initial maintenance service (includes valve adjustments and other items)?  The dealer recommended 90 days after purchase.  I then asked the average mileage at the 90 days, and was advised somewhere between 300-500km.

After the first weekend, we put 135km on the scooter already  ;D

Should we expect to take it in sooner due to high miles, or is this more of an time thing.  I want to make sure this is done correctly along with service records in case any warranty issue ever arises.

Agility 50 / Did I get a good deal, or ripped off?
« on: May 16, 2011, 11:32:11 AM »
Greetings forum!

We are the proud new owners of a brand new 2009 Kymco Agility 50.

Since we did not do much price comparison, I wanted to know if the following deal was a good one, or bad.

Scooter $1299.99
Freight to dealer $160
Setup/Prep $75
Doc fee $50

Total before taxes, about $1585.

Prior to buying a scooter, I kinda figured all of thoese extra fees would be included in the MSRP.  On the other hand, it was the only new agility nearby, so we pulled the trigger.

bumping this thread as I have the same question.  We just picked up a new 2009 Agility 50, and the dealer offered to perform the derestriction and stated the scooter would still be under warranty as long as they made the modification.

Does anyone have any experience taking theirs in for warranty work after the derestriction?
