Get the 70cc upgrade kit. It saved my bacon on some of the hillier portions of Colorado Springs.

I've got a 2010 People 50 with the 70cc upgrade. Just passed 1000km and I'm averaging 85 mpg (yes, I convert km to miles) My scooting terrain is between 6,300 and 6,800 feet in Colorado Springs. My partner's 150 is averaging around 75mpg.
