Grandvista 250 / Re: Gas Mileage Not What I Expected
« on: August 05, 2011, 10:16:15 PM »
I'm confused(it don't take much) I'm a new owner and my owners manual says to us 95 RON fuel.  So wouldn't that mean I should use 92 AKI?
95-4= 91
thanks,
Jim B.

:)Hey Catman  I think that did it.  Thanks a lot, I took it back over the same route as before and nothing dragged.  The shocks were on the lowest setting.

Next I need to remove the butt pad, I'm only 5' 8'' but it's way to tight in the drivers seat.

Changed oil today and a little disappointed that there is no oil filter but overall I'm liken it.

Did a search for a service manual but no luck, would be nice be able to adj. the valves someday.

Good idea on adj. the shocks.  I'll try that and report back.

One more thing,  the book says to use 95 grade fuel and I'm not sure what that is.  87,89,or 92 octane?
thanks again

Grandvista 250 / New owner has question, keep dragging center stand
« on: July 20, 2011, 09:53:22 PM »
:) Hi everyone just picked up an 07 GV yesterday with 253 miles and having an issue  with dragging the center stand on turns.  It doesn't feel like I'm leaning much at all but it still drags.  I have looked at the center stand from underneath the bike and everything looks like it should.  I hate to have to take it off but its not going to work this way. Any ideas or is it just the nature of the beast?  PS I  have two other bikes, Honda Pacific Coast and Burgman 650 and have never dragged anything on them even though I've tried, I'm not a  dare devil.
So far I'm impressed with the quality of scooter.
