Check to see if you don't have a crack in the pipe. Mine occurred near the bolt that held the heat shield on.

The MSRP is about $6,800. I see used ones for sale at dealers for $4,500.

Here's my post about DR Pully Sliders. I got them from a Buggy shop, NW Buggy IIRC. They work great and take out the dead spot in the middle of the power band. Make sure to get them in the correct way.

I strongly suggest using the OEM belt from Kymco. I have never heard good things about Gates belts in scooter.s

Just put on a leather glove and adjust it with your hand. I suggest you do it while the bike is on the center stand.

It's not really a lie if two small helmets (or a FF and half or 3/4). This is how they can say 2 helmets fit.

Some prefer gel cushions while others prefer an air cushion (AirHawk is one brand).
Some have taken the seat to an upholsterer and had them remove the padding there and replace it with a gel cushion covered with new foam and use the existing seat cover. This provided them with the enhanced cushion without changing the appearance of the seat.

I would check your vacuum hoses. You can easily check them if you take out the seat bucket. I know I have pinched them by over filling the bucket and then sitting on it. The seat bucket removal is simple... remove the two nuts behind the battery box at back edge and then the two bolts in the from edge of lower section of the bucket
The "tee" at the front of the underseat area is where my hoses have been pinched twice. It would stall at every light and it stumbled at idle, it it idled at all.
