Vitality 50 / Kymco Vitality 50 fuses

Can anyone help me with why there are two fuses coming off the battery one in the positive line that is a quick blow type and one in the negative line that is a slow blow type.  My knowledge of electricity says you only ned one and it is usually in the positive line.  Also I should add that the electric start does not work, I can kick start the bike and it runs well.

Where in Canada can you get Kymco Vitality 50 4T parts?  With the problem I have had with the dealer here in Victoria I do not want to deal with them anymore.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to have a look at them.  At least I have all winter to get it running properly as I do not ride during the winter.

Vitality 50 / Poor Performance

I had my Vitality 50 4T in for the 3000Km maintenance.  Before the maintenance I could get 55km/hr (35mph approx) on the flat, but since I can't get more than 40Km/hr (25mph approx) on the flat.  The mechanic says there is nothing wrong with the scooter and that is the way it is supposed to run.  He has had it for a month and claims he can not get it any better, personally I don't think he even looked at it since.  He still maintains that the scooter runs perfectly.  Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions!  I will look at them it the stupid mechanic can not fix it.  Since the bike would not perform after he did the 3000Km checkup, I took it back to him and told him to fix what he screwed up!

My Vitality 50 4T keeps draining its battery.  I am on the second battery and now it appears to be dead.  The fuses look okay.  When kick started a meter shows that there are 14+ volts being supplied to the battery.  However when the scooter is warm it is hard to keep it running and when it dies the electric starter will not work.   In fact the electrc starter will not work at anytime.  Can anyone help with any suggestions?
