Look, they also have them specifically for scooters and it looks like they can be attached/removed anytime, so they can stay under the seat when it's not so cold.

I'm planning on using a thermostat controlled pipe heater from home depot for $25. It looks like an orange extension cord with a long black element you can weave thru and round the block.

I picked up $40 gloves yesterday for my scoot. They have a lil metal nub in the index finger and thumb so you can use your touch screen device in a pinch thru cunduction of body heat at the finge tips.   Luvin it.  REFERENCE "Dick's Sporting Goods"

The riveted look has got my imagination going. I think over the winter I'm gonna take on a custom project inspired by the Vought F4U Corsair:

wow man thats a cool Idea.can you hook that up to your horn on the scoot.

the horn would be getting no power from the 12v bike battery when key isn't in it (I don't want to rewire the bike).  But you can put a big ass alarm horn in place of my siren idea and just up the battery size running through Hg switch.

I pulled out a mercury switch out of an old thermostat, gonna mount it under the seat at an angle that will put it level when bike is tilted on the kickstand. Armed by a toggle switch and powered by a 9V wired to a small alarm siren.

If the bike is stood up off the kickstand, all hell will break loose.

Beware mercury

Cut out 4" of the middle and aluminum rivets to mate the two ends. About two+ inches of overlap and foam rubber sheet between the two. I like the staggered look and feel it sports up the bum of my bike.

Super easy to do in an hour with a shop environment at your disposal.
