Agility 50 / 2008 Agility 50 issues
« on: April 04, 2014, 03:54:11 PM »
Hello all you Kymco people!

I have had my agility 50 for three years now, and it will always start and go, but no matter the weather it takes about 10-15 tries to get it to actually idle.  It will start, run for about 20 seconds, die, then if I let it sit for about five minutes it will start right back up and do the same again.

If I don't let it sit for five minutes it takes a minute or more to start it.  I have never had any luck using the foot starter, only the electric has worked for me.

Sometimes pumping the throttle will help, sometimes it will not.

I have changed the air filter, spark plug, cleaned the carb, changed the oil and ran through it and made sure all of the hoses and such are on it tight.

Once it starts, if I lay on the throttle it just sputters out, this happens over and over again and it has only gotten worse throughout the years.  It used to be bearable, but now it takes me 20+ minutes to get it to start (this is if I do not let it sit five minutes in between attempts, if I do that it can take far longer).

Suggestions?  Any more information needed?

Thank you in advance,

Tyler

Agility 50 / 2008 Agility 50 starting/idle issues
« on: May 09, 2013, 01:16:38 AM »
I have a 2008 Agility 50 and if I let it sit for more than 4 hours without starting it the scoot takes about 5 minutes to turn over.  If I leave the throttle alone or hold it down it makes no difference.
Once it starts it will idle for about 20 seconds and then die, then it takes about 3-4 minutes to start.
then it dies again, even if I stay on the throttle giving it bits of gas.
After this process once it seems to be idling fine if I try to take off it will go a block or two and then sputter and die, taking a few more minutes to start once more.
If I let it idle for about 15 minutes after I get it started for a 3rd or forth time it will run fine and give no problems.
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER IS LIKE.  Cold, hot, warm, perfect, dry or wet.  Not matter what it does this.

Any suggestions?

Agility 50 / Agility SQUEEK!!
« on: September 09, 2011, 07:38:17 PM »
My front wheel squeeks really bad, naturally I can only hear it at slow speeds.  Are there any grease zerks on these?  It is a 08 agility 50.  I have looked over it qutie a bit without taking off any of the plasticware.  The front breaks also have a horrible squeek, so I just do not use them.  Is it recommended to regrease all the moving parts?  If so is there instructions on how to do so anywhere?  I live in a land where no one knows anything about these scoots, ingrates I tell ya!  I have no experience with bikes before this one, so any amount of info could assist me.
