Yes to all that, though I would also throw in the variator mix as a possibility Jasil/Top Racing. I would at least get comparable to the 1000rpm spring for your clutch. The rollers will have to get played with to find the set-up for you. Before getting my LeoVince, I had a Tecnigas Silent Sport and could get a decent top speed after playing with rollers.

Don't ya just love the little beast?  That's a crazy beautiful carb that will sing when you get it right.
I haven't the space to do anything but tinker with what I have, so I am keen for your travels and travails.
Your posts are full of great infos, so thank you.

Follow-up: The 38 was way too rich but it took me almost this long to go back. No harm, per se, but sh**ty gas mileage. I am of the opinion now that the 92 is really a skoche too big and a 90 will likely be perfect. I don't have one just now and will likely suffer a little longer until I can afford a Dellorto 17,5.

Definitely wait for the break-in period to end before derestricting.
I ride a 2011 Like 50 and the mods I have made are aftermarket variator (Jasil/Top Racing), lighter rollers, stiffer contra spring, and LeoVince exhaust (with a slightly bigger main jet).
On a day with perfect conditions, I hit 50mph.

I have been trying to figure out an aftermarket cage altogether rather than just changing reeds, but I haven't met much success in finding other's dealings with one that fits the sf10 engine. Please keep the updates coming (and good luck!)

A few queries regarding the Like:
You had indicated that the Malossi kit went in without having to perform any modifications (other than "cleaning up" any casting impurities). Was that definitely the case?
Did you get/install carbon fiber reeds? I know they were going to come with the Athena kit, but didn't know if you got some for the Malossi kit.
Was there any improvement with the Naraku cdi? Also, did you stay with the stock mani intake?
Thanks in advance! My minds' gears are turning for the future, if you couldn't tell:)

SeaFoam helps keep it all clean. When you store for winter, use sta-bil if you keep some petrol in it.

Welcome to the forum!
It is very difficult to abide to the manual's recommended speed for the break-in period. What my dealer/mechanic told me was that it was okay to vary the throttle during riding and wot was okay on occasion, though cautioned me against staying at wot for extended lengths of time. You will find varying opinions on proper break-in, ranging from those whom choose to only do what the manual says to "ride it like you stole it". I went with what my dealer said as at the time, I wanted to stay within his perameters to keep the scoot in warranty.
The breakin period will typically last for about the first 750 - 1000km. Within this period, my top speed was about 35mph. After break-in, my max was about 38mph. These measurements were in "perfect conditions", i.e. no wind on a flat surface. Hills would drop me to 25-30mph and a stiff wind (10-20mph) would have a similar effect.
It's a great-looking scoot you have!
Definitely stay with a 2 stroke mineral oil for the break-in period, though make sure it is of a decent quality. I used Bel Ray 2t mineral oil.
