I usually pull the little rubber plug out , underneath is a tapered conical rubber gizmo like an ice cream cone upside down, then push the end of a twist drill ( the round end not the sharp twisty end ) onto the end of the conical gizmo , this way there is no chance the rubber plug bursts and you get direct to the thing which needs pushed . I use a drill because it is  a handy size for the hole ;D

mirror adjusting nut needs tightening up on a fairly regular basis, my mirrors will move around  slowely while riding , even though the nut is tight, have to push back to good viewing position by giving a thump with the hell of the hand. they are not slack as such but they wont stay put

my electric fan on the radiator wont shut down, we had a hot spell and it came on a fair bit when stopping/parking...now yesterday i find it wont stop even when the engine is cold ie after being parked all night..anybody had this problem? know how to fix it ? (probably replace fan temperature signal sender switch or something which needs the covers taken off which I want to avoid as they all clip on with plastic bits which have a nasty habit of breaking off in my experience of taking plastic covers off stuff)  :'(

no shutter key..an ignition key and a little "key" which is a thin flat strip which is pushed into a slot in the side to activate the ignitionlock shutter then pulls it open again by magnetism when pushed in a second time. I dont think I have used it more than a couple of times

maybe I am missing something but the little shutter is opened using a thin flat steel plate a bit like a feeler gauge which  fits in a slot in  the side and  pulls the shutter open by magnetism when you pull it out.try  a thin feeler gauge. may have to file or gring the feeler gauge narrow to get it in the slot

I changed thew front tyre about two months after the rear, not because it looked worn it still had the centre groove showing real deep , but because there were cracks appearing in all the grooves around the tyre...got pictures somewhere if I can figure out how to post them onto the web site

the colour is an indication that it has been getting hot,,probably due to the clutch slipping or taking a while to work up to speed...due to the wear on the shoes.( all that dirt is worn shoes)..I would change the shoes

if you want to take the belt off you need to remove the clutch as well ..if you only want to look at the belt then it comes loose when the variator comes off and you can see all one side easy and the rear side with a mirror
