I'd recommend going with lighter rollers. Actually, I'd suggest switching to sliders. I run 5g sliders. Better take off, and with the sliders you'll get a slight bump in top end speed as well.
Unrestricted CDI will give you a little more ump as well.

A new exhaust and some air box tweaking and/or a new air filter, and bigger jets will give you a decent bump as well.

Honestly, you are probably looking at about a 5 mph upgrade, with better take off.

So, everything is running pretty good.
The new CDI is definitely interesting. The RPMs get high, and they get their quick!

Now, the only question I have is when I'm at WOT I will get some RPM fluctuation. As well occasionally when starting from a stop, there will be occasional hesitation about 1/3 the way up the acceleration.
I had my scooter mechanic friend look at it, but of course it wasn't doing it around him.
We checked the plug, and it doesn't look lean at all.
Could it possible be running a little rich?

Also, at times I swear there is a bit of a gas smell when I come to a stop/stoplight.

Not sure what I think of the CDI. The curve is a little more aggressive than what I would like.

Also, can a new CDI need a bigger jet? I seem to be running a little leaner than I was.

I have the chance to buy a 2008 People 200 S with 4500 miles for $1000-1500.

They are asking $1500, but I know I can get them down on the price, possible as low as $1000.

I don't know much about the 200 S. I have a People 50 2T that I really like, but some more "umph" would be great.

Is that a good price for that scooter? Is it worth the upgrade for me from the 50 2T?

I have a feeling this is such a dumb question that no one wants to answer.
I've been looking at ignition coils and they all look the same to me, so I'm guessing many of them would work, but I'm dumb when it comes to these, so any help would be appreciated!

If you have other ways, you can get it at 5 dollars direct from factory. Get a pack and sell them at 500 percent profit...  my two cents...

How would you get them direct from the factory? At worst a group buy! :-)

I was thinking of upgrading my ignition coil, but looking around is just confusing me as to what would work.
Can you recommend a good high end ignition coil?
Will changing the coil make much/any difference?
