People 50 / Rear suspension adjustment

How did you go about adjusting the rear suspension? My suspension is on the number two adjustment. I'll like to make it a little firmer.

People 50 / 2007 People 50 rough start and whine noise

Just recently noticed that right when you start to accelerate, he scooter kind of vibrates roughly before taking off. Also, at about 30 and 37mph I hear a whining noise coming from the tranny. What do I need to do?
