People 50 / People 50 2t modded, SLOW
« on: November 03, 2012, 09:06:06 PM »
I have some questions about how to make my scooter faster.
Ive put a 80cc kit, leo vince pipe, larger carb, and an air filter on it.

At "45" on the speedo it starts to cut out, like its hitting a speed or rev limiter. Today i found out that the "45" that i thought it was getting up to in all actuality is only 35.

The plugs do still look a bit dark, but not completely black either, so its not that rich.

one problem after anouther... i cleaned the carb again, it was full of water... so i think i fixed the carb problem, when to start her up, she purred of coarse, turned it off went inside to get something came back out and tried to ride it down the street to see what it does, and the solenoid is clicking, i had this problem before and it was a loose starter wire, so i think its shorting somewhere
