How about lowering the suspension? Lower profile tires? Maybe shave the seat to lower the rider? Just thinking out loud, not sure if adding weight wouldn't affect handling negatively

If you are going by the bikes' odometer, remember that that speedo, either mph or kph is optimistic, so the odo will be also

Are you relying on the speedo to be accurate, or have you corrected for that with a gps?

Agility 125 / 10 inch wheel for agility125?
« on: November 24, 2012, 03:43:37 PM »
Is there a wheel(10") that would interchange on an agility? 12" tires are limited, or expensive for my purposes. I wish to make my scoot more off road worthy and 10" atv tires might be the tread I'm looking for. Something like an 19x 5 or 6 x 10 might squeeze under there?

People GT 300i / Re: Are scooters more dangerous than motorcyles?

Even more reason for ABS.  Squeeze as hard as you can and let the microprocessor and modulator do their job.
Not sure on some scooters/motorcycles, but "abs" on a chinese scoot is usually just a limiting valve, not true or usable abs. It only allows just so much pressure through the valve to the caliper.

Agility 125 / Re: Anyone tried different tire sizes?
« on: May 22, 2012, 09:18:32 PM »
Your math is slightly off. Even if the size stamped on the tire is accurate, the diameter is the total height of the tire. You will only gain height/ ground clearance with half of that, that's the radius. So for a .50 inch diameter increase, you gain .25inch of ground clearance. I also want to change tires, more of an off road tread. Best i've found are 140/70/12 kenda 761 dual sports. I'll bet there are other tires for street use.

Agility 125 / fork demensions
« on: May 21, 2012, 04:57:05 PM »
Does anyone know the diameter/length of the agility125 forks vs the 16"wheel models? I'd like to setup a more scootercross suspension, knobby tires, naked handlebar design. Thanks for any info!

General Discussion / Re: Safety Class Question

depending where you live, if you take the class/ license with your scooter you will be limited to a modified/ restricted license, only good for automatic bikes ie no clutch. if you use their bikes you are not limited, and can ride any two, possibly three wheeler

General Discussion / Different wheels?
« on: April 18, 2012, 07:32:18 PM »
Is there any other wheels besides stock that would fit my agility 125? Is the agility common to other gy6 types? I'm kinda stuck on the 6 spoke gy6 wheels but not sure if they're compatible.Would like to run a wider 10"/ mini fatty for a possible atv tire swap. Trying to find out if a 19x6x10, 20x7x10 might fit. Thanks for any info!
