LOL....so true, now back to our regulator program.... 
I took out the OEM CDI and replaced it with a Race CDI and grained another 3-5 mph so the OEM CDI must be restricted....

..ummm...removing that washer will do nothing to change the geometry of the variator...and will not affect performance in any way...
...the purpose of that washer is to give the nut a hardened seat to tighten against, as opposed to seating against the splined fan retainer.
..i suggest puttng it back!!!!!
the splined fan has a metal washer thats molded into the plastic fan on the outside.
i had read on the this forum to remover it, and it did give me 3-4 mph after it was removed???

under the nut that holds the varator on there was a rather thick washer. that was the first thing i did and got 3 mph just by removing it.

I also have a 2012, I changed the CDI to a race CDI, took the washer off the variator and installed 5.5 rollers. I'm getting 44-45 mph now. The boss was already smooth did not need to change it.

« on: April 12, 2012, 12:28:42 AM »basically its the same procedure, the new Agilitys do have a restriction on the CDI and the Variator. i personally didnt take a hacksaw to the CDI i just brought a new one because it was reletivly inexspensive, as for the Variator you could keep it stock and replace the boss for a smooth one. thats basically all you need to do.
heres what i have done so far.. i have a 2011 Agility:-
Race CDI
Race Variator (cant remember the weights i used)
1500rpm torque spring (came with the variator)
Conti Twist sport tyres
As for the Kymco Agility there a nice scoot, i have pleanty of fun on mine. They arent too bad on acceleration once you derestrict them and they are great on the corners once you get sum new tyres on them. just keep a check on valve clearence and your oil level.

I have a 2012 Agility 50 and found that the boss is smooth, not restricted, but there is a washer under the nut that I took off and it gave me better take off and about 2-3 mph faster. I am also confused about the CDI, have read that they ARE and AREN'T restricted.
