People 150 / New Carb for Kymco People hose question
« on: May 18, 2012, 05:57:55 AM »
I bought a new carb for my people 150 scooter on ebay but when i got it there was one hose that my old carb has and the new one does not have. The hose attaches to the carb body just where the float bowl attaches to the carb. The hose goes from the carb body to the air breather. My question is can i use this carb without hooking up the breather hose and just plugging it off or should i not use the new carb.

I have a 2006 Kymco people 150 and am having some problem with starting from a dead stop. Here is what happens when i give it the gas it starts out just fine but when it goes maybe 2-3 ft then it feels like the clluth really grabs and makes the scooter jerk forward alittle and then everthing is just fine.I opened the cover and cleaned the rollers ,the roller look like they are ivory in color but no writing anywhere on them.I really don't know where to go from here.If i am needing new rollers ,Variator, clutch springs and contra spring could you please tell me what to buy and maybe where to order them.I just want the scooter to run like stock i don't need it to be faster or quicker off the line just smooth. Thank You Kevin Ratekin Topeka ks.
