What about waiting for the Honda 300 ? http://www.ratemotorcycle.com/honda-nss-300-forza-2013
Scoot safely,
Dave: When you buy a Piaggio, the retail price might be somewhat close, but it doesn't stop there my friend. 1st...Many Kymco dealers will "wheel & deal" with pricing. Piaggio will not. Also...wait til' you get the BV350 set up, freight & doc fees & try not to fall out of your seat. As many posters have mentioned....Labor rates are $35.00-$40.00 more an hour, parts can be a complete horror story.
Do I like the BV350? You bet. Better looking then my GTi300 by a country mile, but the dealer is 40+ miles away & I laughed @ them when they informed me about their fees. I walked out & scored the GTi300 that day. They called me back the next day & told me they would waive the $220.00 doc fee. I told them...too late, bought a Kymco.
My guess is the angle of which you tighten the cables are rubbing against the battery tray area. When you ride the rubbing on the tray is bumping the cables loose, no matter how tight they are. Make sure the cables are not rubbing anywhere in the tray area.
I had some cheapo wedge bulbs I got off ebay for $1.79/10. (I think they are 194's).
Took the MET-In bulb out and tried one and it works great! I hope if I ever leave the seat open
it won't kill the battery!
On the oil light operation, I have a question:
Does it come one every 600 miles, or at the first 600 miles, and then 1200 mile intervals afterwards?
send him by my house. he can also take care of the damned clock i can't get set.
oops, its my oil light, not check engine light. My oil is full, I changed it a couple months ago and haven't put on many miles, ran the codes, i'm getting code 4, TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), have no idea why, will search other posts about the oil light if there are any
question, how do you reset codes?
