I will give the partial answer of your question. The light switch is on the transfer box. If you view from above facing towards the front of the car it sits next to the main box before the casting goes around the main box. Not sure if that makes sense to you but it does to me.

Well friends, As my point of view it is an electric chock, so first check weather it is getting any kind of electric or not. If not then check your battery is good condition or not. Now suppose battery is in good condition then check that the wire of chock is well situation or not.

Venox 250 / Re: Bought a 2012 Venox250:How do you open the seat?
« on: June 05, 2012, 03:58:59 PM »
Well brother it is easy to open your seat. You just need to open the two side plastic panels which are holding with two bolts to the seat cover. Now there will be one ignition key either you have to turn out or you need to pull it. And press at the fuel tank direction. It will be open.

Sorry, but Kymco has to come up with a newer bike to compete with Bajaj Pulsar.

The Bajaj is 200cc, 4 stroke - 4 valve, triple spark plug system with ECU, 23 HP at 9500 rpm, 18Nm torque, etc.

Yaa This one is also very nice bike. I also like this Bajaj pulsar. Recently Bajaj introduce new pulsar bike with 220 cc.

OK It is good that you have completed with 22000 kilometers. Now after this you need some service like  clutch cleaning and possible replacement,  new rollers, new belt,a valve adjustment. It will help you to increase your scooter speed.

People GT 300i / Re: What scooter to Choose?
« on: June 04, 2012, 04:09:55 PM »
Hi,

I am trying to narrow down my choices about what scooter to buy. Beside local commuting I want to undertake extended road trips. With the intention NOT to make lots of miles per day but take the time to explore, "smell the roses" and take pictures.

Styling wise I love the Vespa GTS 300. However I am not sure how this scooter will do on the highway's around here. From where I live its pretty much impossible to get anywhere without having to travel a very busy highway with some steep inclines (101, 280, 92).
Also I wander about the stability and ride comfort (bad roads and back) in relation to the suspension and wheel size).

I prefer the step trough "European" style and I have looked at the other well known choices like the Burgman and Silverwing. But these are to much like a big motorcycle to me and defeating the purpose of my goals. The only "Maxi" scooter that I might consider is the TMax since it seating position is higher and it did not appear as big as the other Maxi scooters.

So far I have narrowed it down to these options:

Kymco GT 300i (16" wheels, 28HP) - 364 lbs - Wheel base 32" - Seat Hight 32"
Vespa GTS 300 (12" wheels, 22HP) - 326 lbs - Wheel base 31" - Seat Hight 31"
Yamaha T-Max (15" wheels, ??HP)  - 489 lbs - Wheel base 62" - Seat hight 32"

* Dimensions are rounded to the nearest number.

I was not impressed with the quality and finish of the Kymco People 300 I saw earlier this year in a showroom. Someone at the dealer told me it had a rough ride. From what I have read the new 2012 model should have some mayor improvements. Since I haven't seen the new 2012 Kymco in person I wander that this forum can teach me :-)

The Piaggio BV500 forces me into a uncomfortable seating position and offers little protection. I never sat on a Aprillia Scarebo 500 but I have my doubts about the quality and dealer/distributor support.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Sometimes you have to just one out of many choice that time we are supporting of the feature of that thing which will be preferable with our choice. Now I would like to suggest about Kymco GT 300i because It  has nice feature compare to other and have good engine with 150 cc and also have induction motor for fuel compassion.

Technical | How To / Re: Help my bike won't start :(
« on: June 02, 2012, 04:47:16 PM »
Hello,

I've had a Kymco Agility 125 for 5 years now and haven't had any major problems with it... until yesterday :( For a while now I've noticed that I had more and more trouble starting the engine but after a few tries it came to life. However since yesterday all I'm hearing is the starter relay click and nothing else. I've tried kickstarting it and nothing happens (so I'm guessing that rules out any starter motor problems). I've fully charged the battery over night just to be sure and still nothing.
I took a look at the engine and I realized that the air intake hose from the air filter was detached from the carb so I supposed dust clogged up my carb, so I took it apart and gave it a good cleaning (although it didn't seem like it needed it since everything looked fairly clean). Then I put the carb back in and still nothing... I'm running out of ideas here, please help  :'(

This is really very nice to efforts to start your scooter but you must need to check that is your scooter getting perfect spark in your scooter engine. If it is not then you have either change the plug or clean your plug.

General Discussion / Re: Alternative Fuel or Electric?
« on: June 02, 2012, 04:41:34 PM »
One good source of ethanol is the cassava plant. Getting ethanol from cassava is easier and cheaper than from corn or sugarcane. Our family started this project in 1983 with 12,000 hectares (30,000 acres) of land with a projected ethanol production of 130,000 liters or around 34,000 gallons a day. We had an approved loan from a government bank but when the bank stopped releasing money to us, for some reason or another, production stopped. Some very influencial persons who felt that our business is a threat to them were said to be behind this.

It is really very nice invention with great efforts. To do something different need different thought. Using ethanol alternative option is really very nice.

Downtown 300 / Re: improved air flow filter for DT
« on: June 01, 2012, 07:30:11 PM »
hi.
just installed my new malossi exhaust (witch is great) , and it feel slike the engine needs more air .
so , any suggestions about after market filters with better air flow ?

Hey guy you can solve your problem by improving or change the air flow filter. The process of flow should be clear hence it would like to change. Other wise another option is that measure the OD of carb inlet.  Now Ebay is full of after market filters. And use it very softly.

Well As you think that electric is alternative option of fuel that is true because now a days use of fuel is going hike. We have already many power so we can use it. Either we are taking battery back up or use another  way for using electric insted of  fule.
