Agility 125 / buzzing noise when I turn the key to ON
« on: March 28, 2014, 12:41:09 AM »
When I turn the key in my to ON, I hear a buzzing noise. The scooter starts just fine, but the buzzing continues until I turn the key to the OFF position, any ideas what this buzzing is?

I figured it out.. Apparently I had my blinker on so it was buzzing at me.. :/

Agility 125 / Tail light only works while braking
« on: January 05, 2014, 08:25:04 PM »
About this time last year all the lights on my kymco agility 125 got fried. When I took it into the shop they fixed the issue (and I can't remember what the problem actually was, but it was something to do with voltage regulation) It took the shop about a month to get the parts in so after I got it back I noticed this issue (only a tail light when i break) and also the light for my speedometer is dead.

I can't seem to find in the manual what kind of bulb the speedometer hud takes so if anyone knows that would be awesome.. Anyways back to the main issue of my tail light... I pulled the tail light out today and it looks to be fine, neither wire is broken which leads me to believe it isn't the bulb that is the issue but something else. Anyone have any idea why only the tail light only comes one when I brake?

Any help is very appreciated. Thanks.

I found your service manual on this page; http://www.wotmeworry.org.uk/manuals/Kymco/

You need to decode the RAR to read it though...

Hmm I extracted it and it only goes up to chapter 7...

Thanks, with a little google foo I found the entire pdf manual here. The manual says its for the 50cc although most of the stuff between the 50 and 125 are identical, at least tear down wise.

Did the glass of the bulb crack/break.. or just burnt filaments?

The filaments in the bulbs are burning out. The Lo-beams burn out just from having the scooter running, when I switch to the hi-beam it works until i rev the engine, then it burns out.

Hi, do you have a wiring diagram for your scoot? I don't have the Agility 125. Looking in the Agility 50
there is only one thing it could be - regulator/rectifier. I've been reading up on this lately and they
regulate the AC as it gets to the rectifier so both AC and DC are controlled. Without that the voltage
will get too high and blow bulbs. When you change it fix all the blown bulbs before starting as it's
sensitive to load. Did you change the headlight wattage by any chance? Or add extra lighting? You
cannot do that on a system like this one...

The bulbs I've been putting in it are 12v 35/35W bulbs which is what the manual recommends. The blinkers and tail light haven't been effected by this just the headlight so its the only bulb I've touched on the scooter so far. I saw the screenshot you have and can't find that at all in my owners manual, is that from a service manual? If so can you tell me were I can get one? I have a feeling that may come in handy. Also I looked up regulator/rectifiers and found a few on ebay although i'd rather go with a more reliable store, any recommendations on a shop online that sells scooter parts?

Agility 125 / 2013 Agility 125 Headlight keeps going out

I've replaced the headlight 3 times now and each time it burns out when I rev the engine. This happens on both the regular and hi-beam channels of the headlight. Any ideas about whats causing my headlights to burn out? I'm assuming it getting to high of a voltage but don't know what parts to check to see if they've gone bad.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
