Like 50 2T / 2013 Like 50 Headlamp Ground

I just purchased a 2013 Like 50. It has an electrical problem. There is no power to the scooter. I started disassembly and cleaning to have a fresh start. After removing the headlamp, I had power to the scooter. Plugging in the headlamp kills everything. Nothing electrical works. Unplugging gives me full power. Horn, signals, everything works.
What can be happening in the headlamp circuit that kills the power. I appreciate any help you can provide.
