Paint is the best solution is you get the fancy paint the sticks to plastic.  I used back to black on jeep fenders, but it wore off to fast.

You know replacing the battery on a 2010 xciting was easy.

Open up seat lid.
Two screws on the back open the battery door.
Then there is a battery strap and the cables running to it to remove.

I did mine in 20 minutes going slow and adding acid to my new battery.

Compared to the Yamaha Majesty this was easy and enjoyable.

Would a new 2010 for 3900 still count as awesome?

My 2010 does.  Although it's intermittent.

Considering this summer they were fire selling the 2010's at awesome prices I would think they just don't want to have to do that for newer bikes.  I love my 2010 x500 I got in june.

Im just not sure about the price.  I got my new 2010 for 3900 in june.  Spending that much on a show bike just seems kinda weak.

I know this might sound insane, but some jeep softtop window cleaner works great on clear plasic.  I used it to clean my helmet too.  Its basically a light wax/polish.

I'm learning a lot from this forum.  My bike hasn't died, but my old suzuki was really good at back fires.  I will also take note not to ride like a douche.  Good sound advice :)
