People s150 / Re: rear wheel removal
« on: May 13, 2013, 07:03:13 PM »
Changed my rear tire yesterday, what a lot of disassembly just to get the wheel off!  Jeeze already.  I was however, able to use a deep socket on the upper shock bolt; 3/8 drive 14mm.

Maybe better than taking off the plastic or drilling an access hole?!??

For Sale / Auction -- 2012 KYMCO Like 200i LX
« on: May 04, 2013, 01:58:31 PM »
FYI -- crankyape.com auction ends Wednesday 5/8.  I'll prolly bid and if successful, sell my '02 People 150 and use that $ to bring this 2012 "up-to-speed".

I'm not carrying any water for crankyape.com but I did win a stand-up jet ski two years ago, good folks to deal with.

OBTW -- any suggestions for a good source of parts?  I know about Stadium Yamaha, their brick & mortar is close to my house even.  :-0

People 150 / Re: Difference between a People 150 and S150 ?

Seems odd that we have an S150 board.  Equi-odd that we don't have a Movie 150 board.

Are you sure that the air/fuel screw isn't for the  idle circuit only?

No sarcasm but have you tried adjusting them out? Worked pretty well for me.

General Discussion / New Boards?

What about new boards for the new models? I'm particularly interested the Like 200i and maybe the Movie 150.

For Sale / Where to find parts?
« on: September 01, 2012, 03:16:39 AM »
Looking for a parts source, other than eBay or Parker Yamaha. I have an '02 P150.

Any experiences w/ kymcopartsonline.com?

All I really need is a left side brake lever and a battle box cover. Shouldn't be too difficult but jeeze.

TIA,
MTM

Oh yea, not Moxie Scooters either.

Technical | How To / Re: Running lights
« on: August 21, 2012, 02:34:32 AM »
I modded my scooter's turn signals this weekend. Put a socket for an 1157 (maybe 1156, I used the original bulbs) bulb in the housing and removed the factory turn signals under the brake levers.

I think it makes for a slightly 'cleaner' look.

I dremeled the housing and mixed up some two part epoxy to hold the sockets in place.

Anyone need the factory turn signals off an '02 P150?
