Better to go with a new motor maybe a 125.

Blue, what 125 motor is a bottom mount motor that could be swapped in?

Does anyone have the specs on what the stock ba20d headlight draws in watts? Looking at a quality led but need to see what the stock halogen draws.
Thanks in advance!!!

DONT FIX WHATS NOT BROKEN I ALWAYS SAY.

While this is true from a daily driver point of view, it's pretty boring if you like modifying and tuning

Go back to the enviromoto page. Get an ncy 72cc cylinder kit and ncy cam. That's the kit I run and its holding up great for me

For the 47mm kit, you don't want to go any higher than 6.5g weights. I have this cylinder and a 90 jet. The 6.5 weights get me to 45-50 in no time...

I use the same one and it works perfect. The manual calls for .04 but I like a little closer to 03 so .038 is between them both. Good luck!!!

Not worth it. get a 125 or a bigger scoot. all I have seen never last long after its on.
the scoot needs a good brake in time after its on your you will blow something.
Blue, you don't seem to have good luck with bore kits. What brands/cc size have you used? I've talked to Jeremy at enviromoto and he recommended the ncy 72 kit (no head). He said its still reliable and you get much more torque for take off and hills and such.

Any modification is chance for problems because kymco didn't design it like that. That's part of the fun though is tuning for some.

I bought the PCV available at scrappydog.com...think it was like 10$...tried it out and my scoot was boggy from idle to about 25 MPH...then it wouldn't accelerate any further...the stock setup under the airbox is filled with a yellowish foam material and has a small vent hole right under the carb intake...can't seem to figure out how to eliminate that stock valve under the airbox without sacrificing performance...thinking it might have something to do with the intake air pressure generated from feeding the carb might be what makes that stock valve function

On a side note, i came up with a compromise for better airflow...i removed the stock air filter and intake snorkel and added a pod filter where the intake snorkel mounted to the airbox...nice deep resonating sound and weather tight

You have pics of the new weathertight filter??

Like Randy said, the polini is the best imo. If not, I would say definitely get something Taiwanese as opposed to Chinese. Brands like MTRT, see, and NCY are your best bet

Agility 50 / tach power wire location
« on: March 03, 2013, 05:39:10 PM »
Hey all, so I got an acewell 3100 tach/Speedo. I got the tach wire location. I got the ground. I need to know where to put the power wire. What is the closest location to tap into after the ignition.

Thanks,

Jay

The guys here on the forum recommend Stadium Yamaha for parts. They also have a fiche so you can get a visual of the kickstart parts you will need. I'm posting from my phone or I'd post a link.
Hope this helps and good luck!!!

Maybe I'm overlooking it but still can't seem to find it. Guess I'll just have to take one off. Oh well >:(

Agility 50 / disc rotor bolt size
« on: January 29, 2013, 03:13:25 PM »
Hey guys, I can't decode the service manual download so if anyone would like to email it to me I'd be much obliged. In the meantime, I'm trying to install my new acewell 3100 and I'm missing the speedo magnet. I can order one but I need the front rotor bolt size, length, and pitch.

Anyone care to help out?

Thanks in advance

It performs perfectly. It's a 2012 so I was just worried it was blowing off too much for being so new. I do ride it every day though. It seemed like I checked it every couple to few weeks recently.

Is there lots of pressure in there or just sloshing?

My airbow blowoff tube has been pretty full the last 2 times I checked it and my oil level was low last time I checked it.
