I have both Yager and a Super 8 150 and agreed with most of your positive statements that they pertain to the Super 8. As much as I love my Yager it is still fun to get on the Super 8 for those shorter trips.

Hard to imagine being back up north. I do find that during the winter if the morning temp is below 50 f here in florida it is better to leave the scoot at home

About 6 months after I bought my Super 8 I bought a Yager so when my Son visits me in florida we could both ride. Loved my Yager so much that I bought a second Yager so this year we will be riding equal rides but... I liked my Super 8 so much that I had to keep it (not trading it in). I have over 5500 miles on it and use it for all my local running (10-24 miles).
For all the talk about fuel injection there just seems to be a subtle smoothness with the carb that I enjoy (am I the only one?).
Anyway enjoy it too much to part at this time but it is work riding all 3 each week to keep them running smooth.
I know its a hard life but someone has to do it and compared to taking care of my ex wifes horse hobby, these are easier

When I was in the boating business we were told the reason 303 was beter than some others was because it did not contain alcohol which has a drying effect. not sure if that is true but on 30-50 thousand dollar ski boats we used 303 for seats etc. always seem to work well.

As a proud owner of two Yagers I can only say that if you love yours and you have the means of buying a second, then you can justify (to the wife) that at some time one will become parts for the other.
If she does not see the wisdom of that then I can guarantee that you will never be able to bull s**t her again about anything.

My two cents.
Please spend the few dollars and buy a Battery Tender from amazon and put that charger on once a week.
Two things you will learn to be aware of. 1 is my battery getting weak or dying and 2. Is my charging system working.
Years ago when Honda decided to sell cars in the US that had air cooled motorcycle engines, I had one and a dry battery exploded on me and I learned to respect the damage that can be done by a bad battery. Loved that Car.

If riding to work on any kind of basis try to have a change of cloths there. Even when you think you are beating the weather and you are ( like me) too lazy to stop and put on the rain gear, then realize 2 minutes into the storm you are soaked. At least you can slow down, take all the advice given and change at work.
P.S. don't forget the underwear. Nothing like working all night  in dry cloths but forgot your shorts might get soaked.

Living in Florida I get caught in showers quite often which I think helps rinse the big pieces. At 58 even tho I am in good shape I find kneeling or bending over to check screws and bolts for tightness  hard so I bought a small stool and while comfortably seated with a beer close by using a set of metric nut drivers and a screw driver I slowly make my way around the bike spraying and wiping down as I go. (How is that for a run on sentence).

Since checking screw and wiping down is a 2 beer process, best left for end of ride:). I do this every two to three weeks depending on miles. After each ride I have to wipe the bugs off the front while they are still fresh. Watch out for those exhaust screws. You won't notice them till their gone.
