Well imagine based in the UK and also the piston has bent a valve so went with a kit that came with a head to save changing valves would i need to jet up or can run as is and just chuck the bore kit on

Agility 125 / 180cc bbk advice Update
« on: January 27, 2013, 11:10:46 PM »
Well due to a major piston failure I have decided to buy a big bore kit for my agility 125 was planning on doing this for a while but was waiting for an excuse as its a pretty time consuming job so now the time has come.

Just after some advise on the fuel side of things as have only fitted kits to 2 strokes in the past, Will it run ok on the stock carb, exhaust etc not worried about the power dropping off at higher rpm's as only want to cruise at 60mph max. Any other advise or recomendations etc on things to do fit while the engines out and in bit's would be appreciated.

Well was planning on doing the oil change this weekend but on the way home from work the bike finally give up and died on me made a funny noise lost power then died sounded just like the spark plug had come out but its not just turns over very easy and is making some un healthy sounds to me it sounds like the conrod is knoking about in the barell, checked the oil and surprise surprise there is none. would i possibly get away with top end rebuild or will the big end be gone also ?

I have had my agility for nearly a year now and covered 10,000km without fault just simple service i travel 40miles daily 30 of those at 60mph+ and the bike just sails along also its stored out in the element's sun rain snow uncovered and starts strait up every morning.

This bike that i paid £450 (2007 and 18k) km's has saved me £2000 in train fares  ;D. One suggestion if one still has the factory tyres get shot of these asap and fit some michelin etc they completly change the way the bike handles.

All in all i would stand by Kymco all the way what a brill little bike reccomend to anyone.
