It was probably in California. There is a huge scooter culture in that state. This is my opinion. I am not basing this on facts.

Two were in my neighborhood. The are Black Jack Scooters and Pacific whole sale. Pacific Whole sale used to be on the west side of Vegas before they moved over by the East side near the airport.

This is true. I recently checked out the local Vegas Vespa website. Even their used scooters cost an arm
and a leg. I know Vespa is the Rolls Royce of Scooters. I get it, but even so. I think the customer is paying
more for the brand name than just the model bike. This is my opinion.

Moped dealers and rental companies must obtain a DMV business license. See Occupational and Business Licensing.. This and the fact that if they ran a repair shop, that had to be Licensed too is what forced a lot of small shops to close.
Definition
“Moped” means a motor-driven scooter, motor-driven cycle or similar vehicle that is propelled by a small engine which produces not more than 2 gross brake horsepower, has a displacement of not more than 50 cubic centimeters or produces not more than 1500 watts final output, and is capable of a maximum speed of not more than 30 miles per hour on a flat surface with not more than 1 percent grade in any direction when the motor is engaged. There are already two scooter shops that recently closed. Jim, we do not see as many scooters as we used too. The law has had a tremendous effect on the scooter market.

Recently he adjusted my valves. I kept having to do use the kick starter to start the bike. I was getting tired of doing and kept thinking why does my bike keep having these problems? Once his team adjusted the valves she began to run like a champion again. I was thinking maybe it is time to sell the old girl. Right now I have no plans to sell her. Besides in the Vegas market, the bikes are tough to sell. If I was gonna sell it, I would sell my 2012 Agility 125cc for no less than $600.  Who cares about the high mileage on them. The scooter shop owner told me these bikes can easily last up to 40,000 miles.

Here in Vegas, the local Kymco dealer closes about a year and a half ago. I still have my bike. However, it was the new law that forced them to go out of business. For basic work, I have a local scooter shop I take to in Downtown Vegas. The husband and wife team who own the shop are honest people.  There are not as many scooters here as there used to be because of the new law. The new requires all 50cc scooters to be registered and insured. Now many customers they should just buy a motorcycle instead of a scooter.

The Bowl of Fire is a hike at Lake Mead. I did it a few years ago. Very few people have heard of it because it is not a well
known hike.  Everyone does Anniversary Narrows and railroad tunnel trails hike there. Hamblin Peek is another popular hike.
Everyone knows about the Frenchmen's Mountain hike. this is a very steep hike and is not for beginners. Lave Butte is another
popular hike which I have done too.

Sweet. The cross streets are Tropicana and Dean Martin drive by the I 15. It is just west of the New York, New York casino and hotel.

Here in Vegas, I spoke to one of the local scooter shops and asked them about the Kymcos. He told me they can last up to 40,000 miles which is impressive for a scooter. I almost have 20,000 miles on mine. I have a buddy who does the oil changes for me. I pay him 20 bucks to do it. I am getting my brand new Shinko tires for my bike.

It is called scooter Nite. This was started back in 2009 by the original member before they moved out of Vegas. Now that fall is here, the current organizer decided to make this in the day instead of night event. The reason is allow to more people to attend. The fall months are much cooler than the spring and summer months.

The thirteen mile ride is the Red Rock loop that everyone takes who goes through Red Rock. One can even do the tourist hike know at Turtle Hill Peek. This hike is an asskicker. It has very little traction on the way down. The scree is what kills you.  The scooter brigade has their annual picnic up there too. 

You should post pictures of Mount Charleston and the Bowl of Fire at Lake Mead. Even Hamlin Peek has great views of the Vegas Valley.

Unless one lives here in the Mojave desert, nobody on here knows where this is. The first two pictures are from Red Rock Canyon in
Las Vegas, Nevada.I have done the Red Rock ride so many times on my Agility 125cc bike.  I have gone hiking in many of those areas too or Red Rock. The third picture could be near the local farm up in the Northwest part of town.
The scooter brigade is having our In N Out gathering this Saturday at noon local time.

This is easy for me. My 125cc agility is my only means of transportation at this time. I sold my car back in April for $1100. It needed too much work. I have a nice little cash gig. Unless it rains here in Vegas, I take my bike to work everyday. When it rains, I take Lyft to work.

Maybe this guy who posted all these cool pictures knows Vivo/ I always enjoyed reading his posts.
The United States tends to be a motorcycle market instead of a scooter market. Some of our fellow
Americans are not willing to pay for quality scooters. Here in Vegas it is most the cheap, Chinese
50ccs that you see all over town. At this time of year it is too hot to ride during the day. For me,
my bike is currently my only means of transportation to get around. I have to use it for to get
to job interviews until I get a job again.
