have you been able to run the scoot after you found that.

Yea runs fine, no noise.
Question is was it there in the sump when bolted together or is it something that has happened?
I am going to report it to the kymco warranty guy, I have his email which I got of my dealer when I told him. See what happens, if nothing at least I have reported and noted the problem inside warranty.

Super 8 150 / Re: Tires

Haven't ridden in the wet yet only got fitted 2 days ago. No way will fit in with hugger too wide. Only 6mm gap between shockers. Living in yatala area. These are real motorbike tyres that will save your arse in a sticky situation. The stock tyres should be banned from sale. I believe they would last longer than the motor, they are so hard a compound. I would rather spend the money on a tyre that wears out quicker but I don't die. A good trade off I think. These diablo's will be fantastic once I get used to the different steering.

Here is the pirelli diablo tyres on my super 8 125
120/70/14 on the front
140/70/14 on the back
steering is a little slower on the front. firmer with better feel. i like it much better.
had to remove the rear tyre hugger. no great loss

Ok. The stock tyres are sh** and will kill you. I have been riding motorbikes for over 20 years and have never seen anything so bad.

I have put a Pirelli diablo 120/70/14 on the front fits straight on
On the back sits a Pirelli diablo 140/70/14 have to take off rear mudguard, no great loss.
Bike handles totally different. Turns a little slower, but firmer and with more feel and so much more grip.
Well worth the money. Yes the will wear out quicker but that is the compromise for staying upright when things turn to sh** on the road.
And yes the stock tyres go off after around 4k miles or 7k odd Kim's. still tread left but no grip.

I now have a pirelli  diablo 140/701/14 on the back. you will have to remove the rear mudgard. no loss there.
on the front a pirelli diablo 120/70/14 will fit straight on.

Any suggestions on which seller to trust and which brand or type to replace oem tires which were goog but rear developing an out of shape to it.

still under warranty but dealer says tires nit covered and wont be able to get me in to change tire for a month.

easy question to ask. seems to be hard question to answer. plenty of good tire options for rear 120/80/14. it seems that no one that makes the rear size makes a matching front 100/80/14 so i have been looking for weeks for decent tires and still cant find any in australia, or from the popular bike tire manufacturers.

Help?????
