Agility 50 / Aftermarket exhaust?
« on: February 09, 2013, 06:20:13 PM »
Hi everyone- I'm really liking my Agility 50. Are there any aftermarket exhaust pipes out there that will looks and sound better? I doubt I can get more performance out of a 49cc motor but wouldn't mind blinging it out.  ;D

Derestricted ~42 MPH

Kimmie is back on the road. They replaced the float bowl gasket. They guy said the Kymco ones are thin and they replaced it with a Yamaha one that is interchangable. He also said it had nothing to do with the de-restriction. As I'm not a motorhead, I don't know if they have to take apart the carb to put in the bigger jet. Anyway it's running like it should now, no charge. Just posting for information.

Well today I had no problems. I have no idea what it could've been/could be unless it was bad/watery gas. I'm going to keep going this week and see what happens.

Thanks Blue- I am dropping it off on my lunch hour tomorrow. Hopefully they get it done right and I am going to talk to the owner.

Hello- I have a brand new 2013 Agility 50. Ran fine since I bought it, and I just had the 200 mile service and paid extra to have it derestriced.

Now I will get going down the road, and come to a light or stop sign and stop. When I go to give it throttle to take off, 70% of the time the motor will bog down like it wants to die. Sometimes I'll go to a stop and it will die. I'll recrank it, get it going and if I wait 1-2 minutes, the RPMs will go up, dash lights get brighter. I'll feather the throttle or give it normal throttle and it will take off normally.

Brand new scoot so I'm just wondering if the techs who did my service/derestriction didn't do it right.

I have tried increasing the carb screw 1/4 turn and 1/2 turn more to see if that was it but it did not help. I haven't tried running it leaner.

Not sure if it is ignition, too much fuel, not enough fuel. I'm not a gearhead but have a basic understanding. I will try to get it into the shop and have them fix it but I'd like to go in armed with info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks---

Thanks- got the file I needed and printed out the instructions. Do you know of any good US online retailers for Kymco parts?

From here it looks like I need 80105-LDC8-E10. Can anyone recommend a reputable online retailer?

Also a service/disassembly manual link would be great.

Thanks-

Agility 50 / Broken Body/Blinker Part # needed - Agility 50
« on: January 26, 2013, 08:32:23 PM »
Hi Guys- I picked up my scooter to move it up some steps and broke off a blinker. I'm trying to navigate through the exploded parts diagrams online but can't find the exact part I need. (picture here) https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=2927E999BD570177!399

http://kymcopartsonline.com/catalog/table_overview.php?s_fk_manufacturers_id=21&s_fk_model_year_id=1&s_fk_scooter_model_id=2

I was looking through these. If anyone can help me find which part # I need that would be awesome.

ALSO- Does anyone have a service manual so I can disassemble this myself and replace it? I'm sure the dealer would happily take my money but I think I could probably do this myself.

Agility 50 / Re: Kimmy 50 - No Electric Start

Well unfortunately I live in an apartment complex and have no place to store it. It has been electrically starting fine. It's ice that gets it. So far it has been reliable kick starting though.

Agility 50 / Kimmy 50 - No Electric Start
« on: January 14, 2013, 03:37:22 AM »
Hi Everyone- I am a new Kymco owner. I've had a new Agility 50 for two weeks. Runs fine. This evening we had low temps + rain all day so ice was all over the switches, dash etc. I get nothing from the electric start. Kick start turns it fine- maybe take 3 kicks to get it going. It is cold here- 20 degrees F + windchill. It has to be the ice/cold weather as it's been running great and still does with kick. Strong battery, turn signals work fine, strong headlight. Any thoughts? Thanks-
