Thanks for the replies. I'm trying to stay in the 350 weight range. My husband had the 250 Xciting, before he traded for a Silverwing, and it was heavier than I liked. There are pros and cons to the 16" wheels over the 12". Just have to ride both.

Going to look at two "lightly" used Kymco scooters. The People s250 and the Grand Vista 250. The main difference between the two seems to be the wheel size. I've had the 16" wheels on my People 150, and liked them, but have always liked the Grand Vista too. Got sidetracked over to motorcycles for a few years but am now back with a 2006 Bet and Win. I did a test ride on a Grand Vista about four years ago, and as I recall, I had an issue with the seat. It just didn't seem comfortable. Anyway, I'll be checking it out again in a couple of days. Would love to hear what you might think of these two scooters, pros and cons. Thanks.

Hi all. My first time on this forum. 73 next month, and it takes me by surprise every time I think of it. They say age is just a number and it's so true. Got my first scooter, a 150 People, back in '08. Then tried motorcycles for a few years, and just went back to an '06 Bet & Win 250. Oh, and BTW, I'm a grandmother of three. :-)
