Super 8 150 / Re: kymco vs piaggio vs buddy

Thanks for all the replies.

We bought the Kymco Movie 150 for a bit less than $3000, and have really like it so far.  My wife preferred its styling over the Like, Super or other models.  We also checked out the Buddy and the Piaggio, each looked good, but we felt like we were getting more for our money with the Kymco Movie.

I'm brand new to scooters, but it seems like a great buy so far.  Plenty of pick up even with adult passenger, and it looks cool to boot!

Newbie here, so appreciate some basic advice as we haven't even visited dealers yet, just picking up online info so far.

My wife and I are looking to buy a scooter primarily to get to train station 1 mile from house, with one medium hill along the way.  Our combined weight is about 360 pounds.  We're looking for something reliable, not necessarily fast or flashy, and would like to spend no more than $3000 for the bike itself.

It looks as if the Kymco has a bigger seat/frame than the other two options we're looking at, the Piaggio Fly 150 or the Buddy 125.

Any comments on the ability of which bike better fits/rides two people, and other comparisons for these three bikes or others in this price range?  Thanks much and happy 4th!
