Thanks All. Wil B thanks for the information. This stand won't stay down as soon as the weight of the scooter is taken off the stand it flips up.

I think the grind wheel is coming out!

Super 9 / Is the sidestand meant to not stay down?

Hi

I've just bought my daughter a 2004 Super 9 S and owned many bikes/scooters, but never owned one with a sidestand that won't stay in the down position. This one won't as the bolt has a long end on it which stops the spring holder from swinging down. It this normal behaviour on these to always flick up? I can just see the scooter rolling off the stand on slight inclines. Maybe its some 'safety' feature for those who can't remember to flick it up before driving off. So before I get the grind wheel out I thought I'd see if this is how they are or if this isn't the right stand bolt.

Cheers.
